Amber, a happiness agent, travels the Bhutanese Himalayas, studying people’s happiness. He searches for fulfillment while traveling on a remote mountain journey.. A very insightful piece about the various ways in which the people of Bhutan approach happiness. Given the country’s strong brand based on the concept of “happiness”, this documentary adds a surprisingly diverse narrative to this topic. "everyday" Bhutanese people, proving that happiness can come from spiritual, not material, values. At the same time, through the stories of the participants, the film reflects on some of the country’s most pressing issues (such as emigration or alcohol abuse). I highly recommend this documentary by Dorota and Arūnas: food for open people.
